WHO WE ARE

Ballowax was formed by three individuals who have diverse yet complimentary backgrounds; our vision is to provide the best service possible while providing much-needed jobs to an area of the country that has lost many jobs over the past decade due to our changing economy.

Lisa Kipps-Brown has a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech and passed the CPA exam in 1983, although she isn't currently a practicing CPA. Lisa also owns Glerin Business Resources, a full-service website development company.

Kelly Shaw has both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and has owned a local internet service provider since 1995. Pure Internet has brought highspeed internet access to many rural areas that didn't have such access previously.

Ed Burton has a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and owns Burton Enterprises, a full-service marketing firm, and Green Flag Marketing, a NASCAR marketing firm. Ed has a gift for developing unique marketing programs and has clients throughout the country.
